Christ-Centered Boarding School

Bible classes, daily chapel, and a caring dorm community where students grow in faith and character every day.

Only Christian School in SD with Its Own FFA

Students gain hands-on experience in agriscience, livestock management, and leadership through our nationally recognized FFA chapter.

Students can earn AWS welding certifications and dual college credit, giving them a head start on career and college readiness.

Tuition & Affordability

An Exceptional Value in Christian Education

Since 1951, generous supporters have made it possible for every SBA family to pay only about half the actual cost of their student’s education. That means every family already receives significant tuition assistance simply by enrolling.

Multi-Sibling & International

Tuition covers only about half the actual cost of education at SBA. Generous supporters and the SBA Livestock Program fund the rest, so every family already receives significant tuition assistance simply by enrolling.

Financial Assistance

We believe finances should never prevent a family from choosing a Christ-centered education. Generous financial assistance is available based on need, beyond the built-in support every family already receives.

FAST Financial Aid

Need-based tuition assistance determined through the FAST application process. Apply early for the best consideration.

SD Partners in Education

South Dakota residents may qualify for tax-credit scholarship funding through this state-supported program.

What Families Are Saying

Voices from the SBA Family

Sending our son to SBA was one of the best decisions our family ever made. The teachers genuinely care, the community is like a second family, and we have watched him grow both academically and in his faith in ways we never imagined.

SBA Parent Boarding Student Family

What I love about SBA is how my teachers and dorm parents know me. It’s not just school — it’s my home away from home. I’ve grown in my faith, made lifelong friends, and been challenged academically in ways that are preparing me for whatever God has next.

Upperclassman SBA Student

SBA shaped who I am. The teachers took the time to know me, the Bible classes gave me a foundation I still lean on, and the friendships I made here have lasted into adulthood. If you’re considering SBA for your student, trust me — it’s worth it.
