Fine Arts
At Sunshine Bible Academy, the fine arts are more than extracurriculars — they are an expression of the creativity God places in every student. Through music, drama, and visual arts, our students develop confidence, discipline, and a deeper appreciation for beauty and truth.
Three Ways to Create and Perform
Music
Our music program includes choir and vocal ensembles, concert band, handbells, and worship team. Students perform at concerts, chapel services, and community events throughout the year, using their musical gifts to glorify God and inspire others.
Drama & Theater
Students bring stories to life through our annual spring drama production, one-act play competition, and oral interpretation events. Theater at SBA builds public speaking skills, teamwork, and creative confidence in a Christ-centered environment.
Visual Arts
Visual arts classes give students the opportunity to explore drawing, painting, and other creative media. Students learn to see the world through an artistic lens and develop skills in self-expression, design thinking, and creative problem-solving.
Creativity Rooted in Christ
At SBA, the fine arts are woven into the fabric of our spiritual life. Students lead worship music during chapel services, perform at school and community events, and use creative expression as a way to deepen their faith and share it with others.
Whether singing in choir, acting in the spring production, or painting in the art room, every student discovers that the gifts God has given them are meant to be shared. The fine arts at Sunshine Bible Academy are a celebration of creativity, community, and calling.
Performance Opportunities
SBA students do not just practice their craft — they share it. Throughout the year, our fine arts students have numerous opportunities to perform, compete, and serve through their talents.
Annual Concerts
Fall and spring concerts showcase our choir, band, and handbell ensembles. These events bring the SBA family together to celebrate the musical growth of every student.
Chapel Worship
Students lead worship music during weekly chapel services and special assemblies. The worship team and ministry team provide regular opportunities to serve the school community through music and drama.
Community Events
From the spring drama production to oral interpretation competitions and performances at local churches, SBA students share their talents beyond campus and serve the Miller community.
