Sunshine Bible Academy is guided by a dedicated board of nine men who provide faithful oversight and direction, ensuring the school remains true to its founding mission of quality academic instruction grounded in God’s Truth.
A Structure Built on Accountability
The school board of Sunshine Bible Academy is made up of nine men who serve three-year terms, with one-third of the board elected annually. This staggered election cycle ensures continuity of leadership while allowing fresh perspectives to contribute to the school’s direction.
The school board is elected out of the Advisory Council, a group of thirty men serving three-year terms who are elected by the Friends of Sunshine. This layered governance structure reflects a deep commitment to accountability, shared wisdom, and prayerful stewardship of the school’s mission and resources.
Each board member brings a unique combination of professional experience, personal faith, and genuine care for the students and families of SBA. Together, they work to uphold the founding purpose that has guided Sunshine Bible Academy since 1951: providing quality education without compromising God’s Truth.
