From the only non-public FFA chapter in South Dakota to welding certification and mission trips, our students are prepared for life beyond the classroom.
FFA — Future Farmers of America
Sunshine Bible Academy is home to the only FFA chapter at a non-public school in South Dakota. Our students compete at district, state, and national levels in livestock evaluation, agriscience, and agricultural mechanics.
Through FFA, students gain hands-on experience in animal husbandry, crop science, and farm management on our working rural campus. They develop public speaking skills, business acumen, and a deep appreciation for agricultural stewardship — all within a Christ-centered environment that connects their work ethic to their faith.

Leadership & Service
Student Council, National Honor Society, community service projects, and mission trips give students the chance to lead, serve others, and put their faith into action. Whether organizing campus events or serving in the local community, SBA students learn what it means to be servant leaders.
Vocational Programs
Earn real-world credentials while still in high school. SBA offers a welding certification program, dual credit course opportunities through partnership colleges, and hands-on experience in building trades, woodworking, and automotive. Students graduate prepared for both college and the workforce.

Life at SBA extends well beyond the school day. Dorm life activities, social events, outdoor recreation on our beautiful rural campus, and evening Bible studies create a close-knit community where lifelong friendships are formed and faith grows deeper every day.
